Hyundai Creta: Cylinder Block Assembly / Rear Oil Seal: Repair procedures

Replacement

Remove the transaxle.

•	Automatic Transaxle (Refer to Automatic Transaxle System - "Automatic Transaxle")

•	Manual Transaxle (Refer to Manual Transaxle System - "Manual Transaxle")

Remove the drive plate or flywheel.

•	Automatic Transaxle (Refer to Cylinder Block Assembly - "Drive Plate")

•	Manual Transaxle (Refer to Cylinder Block Assembly - "Flywheel")

3.	Remove the rear oil seal (A).

Install a new rear oil seal.

(1)	Apply engine oil to a new oil seal lip.

(2)	Using the SST (09231-H1100, 09231-2B200) and a hammer, tap in the oil seal until its surface is flush with the rear oil seal retainer edge.

5.	Install the other parts in the reverse order of removal.
