| Removal |

Turm ignition switch OFF and disconnect the negative (-) battery cable.

Disconnect the battery positive terminal and them remove the battery.
|
| 3. |
Disconnect the ECM connector and the ECM and battery tray.
|
| 4. |
Disconnect the brake fluid level switch connector from the reservoir.
|
| 5. |
Remove the brake fluid from the master cylinder reservoir with a syringe.
|
| 6. |
Disconnect brake tube from the master cylinder.
|
| 7. |
Remove the master cylinder from the brake booster after loosening the
mounting nuts.
|
| 8. |
Remove the snap pin and clevis pin
|
| 9. |
Remove the master cylinder.
|
| Installation |
| 1. |
Install in the reverse order of removal.
|
| 2. |
After installation, bleed the brake system.

(Refer to ESP (Electronic Stability Program) System - "ESP System Bleeding")
(Refer to ABS (Anti - Lock Brake System) - "ABS System Bleeding")
