Repair procedures

Stop the engine and uplift the vehicle with lift.
|
| 2. |
Loosen the oil filler plug (A).
|
| 3. |
Check the oil level.
|
Oil level must be up to fill the hole, if not, add oil until
it runs over.
|
|
| 4. |
Install the filler plug.
|
Tightening torque:
58.9 ~ 78.5 N.m (6.0 ~ 8.0 kgf.m, 43.4 ~ 57.8 lb-ft)

Uplift the vehicle with lift.
|
| 2. |
Drain the manual transaxle oil after loosening the drain plug (A).

| 3. |
Install the drain plug with new gasket.
|
Tightening torque:
58.9 ~ 78.5 N.m (6.0 ~ 8.0 kgf.m, 43.4 ~ 57.9 lb-ft)

Loosen the oil filler plug (A).
|
| 5. |
Add new oil through the filler plug hole and, fill it just below the
plug opening.
|
Standard oil: API Service GL-4, SAE 70W
Recommnend oil (- SHELL : SPIRAX S6 GHME 70W, SK : HK MTF 70W,
GS CALTEX : GS MTF HD 70W)
Oil capacity: 1.6 ~ 1.7 (0.42 ~ 0.44 U.S gal., 1.69 ~ 1.79 U.S.qt.,
1.41 ~ 1.49 lmp qt.)

Install the oil filler plug.
|
Tightening torque:
58.9 ~ 78.5 N.m (6.0 ~ 8.0 kgf.m, 43.4 ~ 57.8 lb-ft)
